HISTORY
CIP was founded in 2008 by our Chairman Emeritus Col. Frank B. Bragg Jr., US Army (Ret) and other Military Intelligence and industry professionals, to support the intelligence requirements of a diverse group of clients.
We initially conducted an intensive market evaluation of U.S. and international due diligence and business intelligence firms. What our team of researchers discovered was shocking. The industry, as a whole, was primarily engaged in cutting and pasting low-level data from various databases and internet searches. Shoddy work was being packaged into esthetically pleasing reports by inexperienced staffers with little or no analysis by professionals.
We knew we could do better…much better.
Under Col. Bragg’s leadership:
- We determined that our team would consist of field-tested professionals who possess special skills acquired in challenging operations around the world.
- Our clients would benefit from deep analysis that would produce actionable intelligence for a decision advantage. We would not leave them vulnerable with meaningless data overload.
- We would overcome any obstacle to information collection and provide services in any environment, no matter how hostile or challenging.
Since our founding we have proudly served our clients in virtually every setting and circumstance imaginable. We have assisted in complex mergers and acquisitions, prevented kidnappings, found money launderers, assisted journalists in dangerous settings, and tracked and protected assets in some of the most hostile environments on the planet, such as China, Iran, Yemen and South Sudan. No terrain has proven too challenging for our team of professionals.
